E di po ba "a wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives?"

Q - E di po ba "a wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives?"
A - Yes, "as long as he lives"!
Meaning he exists, he is there as a functioning husband: present, dependable, loving, caring, providing, protecting, doing a husband's duties and not only enjoying a husband's privileges.
The wife is no longer bound to him morally. Puede nang kumalas legally, socially and personally.
Jesus himself defines for us the meaning of functionally dead and alive.
The son in the parable of Jesus left his father/home and did not function as a son. Thus he was considered dead.
When he returned, this is what his father said:
Luke 15:23-24 (CEV)
23 Get the best calf and prepare it, so we can eat and celebrate. 24 This son of mine was DEAD, but has now come back to life. He was lost and has now been found.” And they began to celebrate.
If a husband or wife does not function as expected in a prolonged period or repetitive cycles, gravely damaging the partner and the partnership, as a spouse he/she is already "dead". The aggrieved partner is now morally free from the marriage bond.
