A -
PANO KUNG YUNG FAMILY MEMBERS NYA ANG MAGULO/ may kasalanan?
You would hold it against the pastor?
At paano/bakit mo nalamang magulo ang family life nya? Through chismis?
AT ISALI NA RIN ANG MGA BIBLE STUDY TEACHERS, Sunday School Teachers, Singers, Instrumentalists, Ushers, etc. Siguradong WALANG MATITIRANG NAGLILINGKOD.
Kaya hindi lumalago at namumunga ang church, we punish those who serve with unrealistic expectations and unkind treatment!
Ganito ang marami that why we lose so many good pastors or discourage many potential pastors from being in the ministry.

1 Timothy 3.4?
A -
Let's study the verse. It is part of
1 Tim 3.1-5 (CEV)
It is true that anyone who desires to be a church official wants to be something worthwhile. That’s why officials must have a good reputation and be faithful in marriage. They must be self-controlled, sensible, well-behaved, friendly to strangers, and able to teach. They must not be heavy drinkers or troublemakers. Instead, they must be kind and gentle and not love money.
Church officials must be in control of their own families, and they must see that their children are obedient and always respectful. If they don’t know how to control their own families, how can they look after God’s people?
-----------
The context tell us that the pastor or church official must do his part to have a godly family. The verses emphasize what the church leader should do.
So, they become unqualifed/ disqualified ONLY IF they willfully NOT do or try to achieve these ideal family situations. Like if they are personally ungodly or negligent in teaching and leading their families.
However, if they are doing their best to effect these AND IT IS THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS who do not cooperate, the fault is no longer with the responsible family head /church leader and he should NOT be disqualified from ministry because of the free-will exercise of his wife or children to NOT be orderly and godly themselves!
You disqualify the leader only IF he DOES NOT do what he must to be godly
and to lead his family to/ in godliness, NOT because his family members, on their accord, live ungodly lives.
Even God holds us accountable only for our PERSONAL behavior, not for the behavior of others, even they might be our family members!
Romans 14:12 (NIV)
So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.
YOU DO NOT PUNISH PETER FOR THE SIN OF JOHN!
