God is good all the time?

Q - Tito, I'm struggling with "God is good all the time". Is God really good all the time? As in all the time?

A - Define “good”
Q - Someone po who is helpful, understanding and comforting.
A -
You will really struggle if what you mean by "good" is "good/favorable to you or to specific persons/beings."
The constant goodness of God is grounded on God's Natural Law; God's Natural Law is always good: like storms, typhoons, volcanic eruptions, etc. are good. Kailangan ang mga yan to balance/renew/recycle nature. Now such phenomena might NOT be "good" /favorable to some specific people or beings at some specific moments if the effects are unfavorable to them.
But despite all that, God remains good.
For instance:
If a lion eats a deer, is God good ("helpful understanding, comforting" to the lion and not good to the deer? Or is God simply good to the balance and laws of Nature in general?
Para maunawa ang ibig sabihin ng "God is good all the time" ---wag ito i-equate as being personally favorable to specific beings.

DAGDAG-BAWAS?

 “DAGDAG-BAWAS?”

Q - Di po ba sabi sa Bible bawal magbawas o magdagdag sa words in the Bible? So dapat sundin lahat ng laws and commands sa Old Testament?
A -
SINUNOD BA NI JESUS LAHAT NG OT LAWS AND COMMANDS?
Obviously NOT.
(While most of the contents of the OT came from the Jewish Scriptures, marami pa ring parts ng Jewish Scriptures ang WALA sa Old Testament. So by that logic ay puedeng masabing nagbawas ang OT from the original Jewish Scriptures.)
2. AND TALKING ABOUT DAGDAG-BAWAS, any student will see how much of the Law was changed, trimmed, updated and reinterpreted by Jesus ---tulad ng ginawa ni Jesus sa Sabbath, Dietary Laws, Purification laws, regulations on Jews and Gentiles, women, etc. KASI KUNG WALA NAMANG BABAGUHIN /PAPALITAN / IIBAHIN SA LAW, BAKIT PA DUMATING SI JESUS AT NAGBAYAD NG BUHAY to set people free from the Law?
In fact sabi ng
Ephesians 2:14-15 CEV
.. Christ gave his own body to destroy the Law of Moses with all its rules and commands...
HINDI LANG YAN DAGDAG-BAWAS, "DESTROY" pa. At yun ang tunay na ibig sabihin ng "Jesus came to fulfill the Law." Ipinakita nya ang ibang paraan ng pag-fulfill sa Law: by making its interpretation and application LOVING, user-friendly, caring, and SAVING, NOT CONDEMNING.
Kaya hate ng mga Pharisees and Teachers of the Law si Jesus at ipinapatay pa nila.
Kahit sa lahat ng panahon, Pharisees hate Jesus /Jesusness kasi overly loyal sila sa Law at sa traditional, literal reading of it.

IBIG MAG-LEAD NG BIBLE STUDY

 IBIG MAG-LEAD NG BIBLE STUDY

Q - I am planning to put up a bible study group. Please advise me on how should I start.
A - Ano ang goal/objective?
Q - To preach God’s word and salvation po.
A - Linawin muna sa sariling isip kung ANO/ALIN ang “God’s word”.
Maraming ganyan, ang itinuturo pala ay words of the teachers of the Law and Pharisees, hindi words ni Jesus.
Q - It’s more of Jesus Christ’s teachings po.
A - Kung Jesus teachings ang goal ituro, focus on the gospels.
Next linawin: “Salvation” from WHAT?
Q - Salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ po?
A - Salvation of/by Jesus FROM what?
Q - Jesus Christ died on the cross for the salvation of humanity.
I refer to John 3:16. Also with Romans 10:9
A - That is too general and does not mean any specific idea.
"Save humanity" from WHAT?
Sa maraming Christians and teachers,
hindi pa talaga clear kung FROM WHAT Jesus saves.
So un ang sagutin mo pamangkin:
To save people from WHAT?
Q – To save from eternal death.
For them to have eternal life.
A - Malabo pa rin. Linawin.
What causes death?
Q - Sin
A - What causes sin?
Q - Not knowing Jesus
A - Be more specific. Not knowing Jesus’ work.
Again, WHAT causes sin?
Q - The law.
A - So, “save people from the LAW!”
People are saved from sin
= Saved from death by saving them from
the Law.
Jesus came to destroy the Law and
save people from the Law
(Galatians 3:13).
Q - Naunawaan ko na po
A - Jesus sets free from the Law
Q - That’s why we have to filter the Old Testament
A - The sad fact: Many Bible teachers emphasize and teach the Law, not Grace.
They teach Judgment not Love; they focus on Moses not on Jesus
Q - It should be grace.
A - PAG CLEAR NA YAN SAYO,
GO AHEAD AND STUDY SOME MORE THEN TEACH.
WAG PAGHALUIN ANG LAW AND
GRACE.
KUNG GRACE, GRACE LANG.
Q - What are the best references po for Bible Study?
A - THE GOSPELS and MOST OF PAUL’S
TEACHINGS.
MINSAN, LEGALISTIC DIN ANG PAUL
KAYA KAHIT SI PAUL DAPAT SALAIN
SA JESUS FILTER.
LAHAT DAPAT SALAIN SA JESUS
FILTER.
Q - I see.
A - OF COURSE,
JESUS IS THE IMAGE OF THE
INVISIBLE GOD.
Sya ang standard.
IN JESUS, GOD LIVED IN BODILY
FORM.
Jesus was sent to correct all erroneous
teachings before Jesus---and after
Jesus.
Maraming erroneous teachings ang
sumulpot sa early Christianity – na
nanaig hanggang ngayon tulad ng
refocus and re-emphasis on the Law.
Read about the circumcision group and
Judaizers in Acts.
Q - Pastor Ed. I think meron po kayo Bible
school. I want to study there po.
A - KALIWANAGAN School. We will
announce pag may online class.
Sa BS, BASTA DAPAT MALINAW ANG
LESSON: SALVATION BY JESUS
/BY GRACE ---FROM THE LAW.
Q - To free people from the Law!
A - MALABO YUNG salvation “FROM
DEATH /HELL /ETC.
DAPAT CLEAR NA SALVATION FROM
THE LAW
Q – UNCLEAR po ba? Why po unclear?
A - KASI HINDI CLEAR WHAT CAUSES
THE DEATH. Sin causes the death.
The Law causes the sin.
Q - I got it po.

AS YOU THINK... Kung pano Ka Mag isip - ED LAPIZ
