Q - NAKAKALITO PO: May sinasabi sa Bible that Jesus destoyed the Law at pinawalang bisa na ito, tapos may sinasabi naman si Jesus that he came to fulfill the Law? That nothing in the Law will ever pass away. SO, alin po ang effective sa Christians today: Are we to skip the Law or obey all the Law pa rin?
Q - NAKAKALITO PO: May sinasabi sa Bible that Jesus destoyed the Law at pinawalang bisa na ito, tapos may sinasabi naman si Jesus that he came to fulfill the Law? That nothing in the Law will ever pass away. SO, alin po ang effective sa Christians today: Are we to skip the Law or obey all the Law pa rin?
A - Ancient Israel had THREE types of laws:
1. CEREMONIAL LAW (Yung may mga kinalaman sa religious concepts nila of purity and worship. KANILA LANG TO, HINDI PARA SA BUUNG MUNDO);
2. LEGAL LAW (Yung umiiral na civil law/batas governing their country. At dahil wala silang separation of "church" and state, yung Scriptures nila ang "constitution" na rin nila, their ceremonial and civic/legal Law was viewed as ONE and the same. KANILA LANG ANG LEGAL LAW NILA, HINDI PANG BUUNG MUNDO.)
3. MORAL LAW (Mga batas, ordinances, rules, regulations that reflected GOD's universal values of good vs. bad, right vs. wrong.
---
Ang LEGAL & CEREMONIAL LAWS ng Israel ang
1. FULFILLED /SATISFIED BY JESUS to save people who cannot fulfill all of them anyway. All who fail to fulfill the Law are saved from the Law when they believe in Jesus, his Divine personhood and his perfect work/sacrifice.
---
Ang LEGAL & CEREMONIAL LAWS ng Israel DIN ang destroyed and nullified by Jesus through his work and fulfillment of it para palayain ang tao mula sa pagkaka-alipin under those very harsh and cruel laws.
SO,JESUS BOTH FULFILLED and DESTROYED THE LAW (THE LEGAL AND CEREMONIAL LAW).
Meanwhile,
Ito ring Universal Moral Law ang hindi magmamaliw; na "not a dot or an iota will perish." Ito yung COMPONENT OF THE LAW na sinumang susuway o magpo-promote ng pagsuway ay tatawaging "least in the Kingdom of Heaven."
Yang tatawaging "least" does not refer to those who now skip the ceremonial and legal laws of ancient Israel that had been nullified by Jesus.
---
JESUS BELIEVERS AND FOLLOWERS MUST RECOGNIZE THESE THREE TYPES OF LAWS, AND SUBMIT THEMSELVES TODAY ONLY TO THE UNIVERSAL MORAL LAWS ---and to some specific aspects of ancient Israel's CEREMONIAL and LEGALS LAWS when
AND ONLY WHEN such laws agree with or do not contradict JESUSNESS (the teachings of Jesus).
Kaya mahalaga ang JESUS FILTER.
PADAANIN SA JESUS FILTER ang lahat ng Law: Ceremonial, Legal at Universal Moral Law.
PINALAYA NA NI JESUS ANG MUNDO MULA SA CEREMONIAL AND LEGAL LAW.
BUT APPRECIATE NA iniligtas na ni Jesus ang mga under the legal, ceremonial and even moral laws by his perfect redeeming sacrifice.
Ang patuloy na pagpapa-iral ng legal and ceremonial laws of ancient Israel (that Jesus came and sacrificed with his own life to destroy and nullify TO SET PEOPLE FREE) ay paglabag sa kalooban ng Ama na nagsugo kay Jesus, at pagkontra sa mapagpalayang ministry ni Jesus.

RIGHTEOUSNESS and SALVATION
RIGHTEOUSNESS and SALVATION
Eh nu pong relation niyan sa Philippians 2:12, "Work out your salvation with fear and trembling." and Hebrews 10:26-27, "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries."?
A -
"Work out", ibig sabihin put to practice. Like workout sa gym = practice.
Q -
Aside from rejecting Christ, what are other factors po in which a Christian can lose his/her salvation po?
A - I don’t think a believer will ever lose salvation.
What if a Christian won't work (practice) his/her salvation? Is there any fairness po ba to the part of those who eagerly seek righteousness that shows that GOD is a God of justice, fairness, and equality?
A -
If God would practice justice, no one could be saved. Because no one is righteous enough.
Q -
Di ba po one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is righteousness? And if we received it, we will obtain this fruit that makes a Christian righteous, and the rest of it. Pano po kaya ang interpretation dun?
A -
"Imputed righteousness" yun. Bigay ng Ama through your faith in the Son Jesus. That is the righteosuness that saves. Imputed yun ---iginawad, hindi earned by performance ---not by obeying the Law
Q –
So how to become righteous po??
A - Mayron ngang imputed or God-given righteousness through faith in Jesus. This is what saves. Mayrong personal righteousness earned through performance. This does not save; this only places one in the path of earthly blessings. Lack of this earned righteousness will not invalidate salvation; it cannot cancel the perfect work of Jesus ; it could only lessen blessings in this life.
Q -
Is it much better to have BOTH that imputed righteousness and personal righteousness? Yung tipong may faith na, may performance pa?
Or dapat sa imputed lang naka tingin?
A -
Of course ang ganda if you have both! Pero kahit minsan-minsan ay mababa ang “points” sa earned righteousness, tandaan: wala yung kinalaman sa salvation kasi nga ang believer ay "saved by faith, not by works so that no one can boast." Di nawawala ang salvation, kasi based on imputed righteousness yun, not on performance. Siempre dapat sikaping
mayrong mataas na score sa earned rigteousness. Pero kung kinukulang,
kinakapos, nadarapa, etc. “God remembers that we are dust.”
